I'm an artist and mechanical and design engineer with nearly a decade of experience bringing ambitious ideas to life, from early sketches to fully realized, large-scale installations and market-ready products. With a blend of engineering rigor and artistic sensibility, I design and build innovative mechanical and electro-mechanical systems that are as functional as they are visually compelling. I've led multidisciplinary teams, managed complex projects end-to-end, and collaborated across fields to deliver work in both research and public-facing environments.
Most recently, I co-founded and served as CTO of a lighting startup, taking a novel product from concept to global launch in just eight months. Prior to that, I led the design and delivery of major kinetic and robotic installations around the world, and developed experimental systems in a neuroscience research setting. Trained at the Royal College of Art and Imperial College London, with a dual background in engineering and fine art from Dartmouth, I bring a hands-on, detail-driven approach grounded in both technical expertise and creative thinking.
I grew up in northern California and New Hampshire, spent 10 years in London, and now live in Marseille.
